Welcome to ISEV2011

On behalf of the Fifth International Symposium on Environmental Vibration (ISEV2011), I am pleased to welcome you to ISEV2011.

This symposium will be held in Chengdu, China, from October 20 to 22, 2011, hosted by Southwest Jiaotong University. The four previous symposia in the series were held in Hangzhou (2003), Okayama (2005), Taipei (2007), and Beijing (2009). ISEV2011 is devoted to advances in environmental vibration including the prediction, monitoring, mitigation and evaluation of ground and structural vibrations caused by train/road traffic, construction activities, and factory operations.

During this symposium, scholars and engineers from all over the world, including Japan, Belgium, Germany, Australia, Sweden, The Netherlands, USA., Mexico, Spain, Portugal, Iran, Cameroon, Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan, will exchange knowledge, ideas and experiences in the domain of environmental vibration. This will promote the research on environmental vibration and benefit personal research in the future.

Welcome to Chengdu! Welcome to ISEV2011!
